I will go with mr ramdev about recent herakhan baba that he was a dubious personality only people who had heard about old herakhan baba had intuition about him that he could be that . some of the names of locals like chandramani of herakhan for recent baba that he was that or this but i know chandramani personally he was bluff master and more his other brothers and their sons had a criminal record if it was so why current could not transform them more over to find the fact one can go haidakhan and eshtablish it however i have left that place twelve years back may be or afraid that chandramani is living. The other person shown recounting about old haidakhan to the recent one eshtablishing that the recent one was the new copy of a old one . yes i am talking about teacher ramsingh sammal of okhaldhooga who is still living now in village lachhampur golapar . He is also a person who exaggerates too much about nothing .his account is also noted in haidakhan baba's summery . I was surprised to see his name been taken as s witness of baba there. As far as recent baba is concern i'de been scores of time in haidakhan to share kirtans and more i was present in all nine days when devibhagwat was scheduled in 1972 or 73 at suryadevi in golapar . I am bit logical and curious about all sages still devoted to saibaba and akkalkot swamisamarth . From that time to present day some two third greedy devotees are still living and looking for oppertunity to siphon off money he left, none of them was aware of yoga properly and as people of haidakhan working there always their tongues wagging and they were not sure who he actually was but they had gotten the jobs there. if and body wants to ask logically with me can contact in this one . One thing I tell still things belonging to old baba are left in dyola village of golapar because they didn,t give to them . And more i want to ask these people the recent one was new avatar of old one than who will be next one when will he come? Perhaps ramsingh sammal can give you answer of that for he wouldbe dreaming of baba he might have been told about his new avatar. I request them they unfold before the world so we people can hold our breaths for mahaavatar babaji of lahirimahashay or yogananda. There is no reason to blame him because it was his profession and those who involved in it were well aware about what they were doing.It was not just a case of pilferage or hypnotising any one but people,men or women were well enjoying sex and they certainly liked it. Hello everyone,
Just while surfing the net I went across this page. Since I am devoted to Mahavatar babaji I would like to clarify many things about him.
Yes haidakhan babaji and mahavatar babaji are the same person. Actually two forms of the same person. He is none other than KRIPACHARYA, one of the teachers of kaurava and pandava princes during mahabharata. It is evident from mahabharata that only kripacharya,ashwathama{his nephew} and vidura were the warriors left from kaurava side.
When yogiraaj avatar sri krishna left his body, he gave kripacharya the duty to spread the ancient science of kriya yoga among true devotees. SInce then Mahavatar babaji has been involved in spiritual upliftment of the country. Since last 5000 years he has been giving his guidance to all great saints and helping them in achieving the aim for which they have descended on earth. This is the role assinged to him by god. Numerous centuries will come and go, but he will remain there till the end of the earth life cycle. Apart from these two forms, he is worshipped as lord lakuleesh in gujarat, lama baba in tibet, the never dying saint in south and in numerous other forms. Taking so many numerous forms is no difficulty for him. He plays with time,space and dimensions like a child plays with bubbles.
As far as haidekhan baba and mahavatar baba are concerned, both have difference in their appearances. Haidakhan baba is tall, has dark complexion and Worships lord shiva. He likes to bath panchagni or five fires. His tales are very famous in the kumaon villages of uttarakhand[you can see "haidakhan baba,known,unknown by baba hari dass"] Mahavatar babaji on the other hand is of medium height, wheatish whitish complexion,usually has a dhoti at his waists. He worships lord krishna. He is Babaji mentioned by sri paramhansa yogananda in his autobiography.

Hedakhan babaji took jal samadhi long ago in river kali ganga in uttarakhand as
Slowly and slowly he was getting involved in society which he didnt wanted. Apparenly he died for society but is only visible to true devotees as mahavataar baba or haidakhan baba, depending on the faith and sincerity of devotee.
Seeing the popularity of name of haidakhan in kumaon region, a young saint under the influence of greedy money makers declared him to be haidakhan. Rest is all you know.

I would like to mention that true saints are rarely found in ashrams, they generally carry their sadhana in himalayas and come to quench the thirst of spiritual seekers during kumbha mela[which is unfortunately again dominated by these ashramwallahs].
The saints mentioned in this thread are the ultimate great fore fathers[literally] of all the sects of india. Every sect in one way or the other related to them. They are the neev[building base] of spirituality in India. We cant even imagine their spiritual state. Once humans like us they have transformed themselves into superhumans with their sadhana and tapasya. Time space dimension means nothing to them.
You may find many things mentioned in this thread to be unbelievable, but they are true. You believe or not is a matter of your faith.
As it is written in autobiography of a yogi, whosoever remembers Mahavatar babaji with true devotion can instanly feel his blessings being showered on them. I can too. I bow thousand times in the feet of these great gurus.
