There is a large community of Afghani peope in India and they are accepted as friendly people. It's a tragedy that this country has been in such a great disaster. Indian people have always extended a hand of friendship to the people of Afghanistan and will keep doing so. Since times immerial Afghanistan has been the first place for invadors of India. Most foreign invasions in ancient times used to originate in Afghanistan...but now the invasions are a prehistoric fact as the new invasions come in form of Television channels via satellite.

Till 1970s there was a sizable Indian community there but since the breakout of war, things have been pretty bad for them. This community was as much part of Afghanistan as now Afghanis are part of India.
